Poonhill yoga trek provides a wonderful opportunity to witness the beauty of the Annapurna range and the hidden treasures of Nepalese culture. This adventure journey passes through many tourist hotspots, icy waterfall which are very pleasant. The course starts from Pokhara and can be ended at Pokhara for your next destination.
This program will help you practice intigration of the principles of Yoga into daily life With magnificent views of snow-capped himalays, glaciers. The benefit of joining this program is that it supports and encourages the deep transformation processes. Introducing hatha yoga and meditation with trekking experience allows for a wealthier gratefulness of the physical and mental body. Note: To attend this yoga course, you have to be at our yoga retreat a day before. Your program will start from next day in the morning with tea.
Day 01 : Arrival in Pokhara (910m)Check in to the retreat for settlement by the evening. Overnight in the retreat after dinner. || If you are in Kathmandu, you can drive to Pokhara(200KM) on this day, we will be there to pick you up.
Day 02 : Pokhara - Tikhedhunga (1525m) 3-4hrsEarly morning wakeup then we have tea before yoga. We practice yoga for a hour then have breakfast. After breakfast we drive to Nayapul (50KM). We start our trek towards Tikhedhunga. On the trek we pass through few towns, reach to Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.
Day 03 : Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2850m)
After tea and Breakfast in the morning we start our Trek towards Ghorepani. On the we cross a stream on a suspension bridge. Trek to a Magar Village which is called Ulleri. Above the village where the trail climbs gently through the cultivated fields, rhododendron and oak forests then stop at Nangethanti for lunch and short rest. After lunch we start walking towards Ghorepani through beautiful forest. We do yoga in Ghorepani then dinner. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 04 : Ghorepani - Poon Hill (3210m) - Tadapani (2630m) 6-7hrsWake up early in the morning then a hour hike to Poonhill. Where you can enjoy with Panoramic Mountain Views & beautiful Sunrise View from the eyes of your mind. Then we Trek down to Ghorepani and have Breakfast then start our Trek to Tadapani meaning far water. Water supply in this village from long distance. The trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali. Then descend to reach Banthanti and reach Tadapani, do yoga in the evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 05 : Tadapani - Ghandruk (2000m) 4-5hrsWake up in the morning andpractice yoga. After yoga we have breakfast. Then our trek continues towards Ghandruk. After walking around 4 hours we reach Ghandruk, Gurung village which is the most interesting tribal Gurung village in Nepal, which provides Gorkha soldiers. It has excellent close-up views of Annapurna South and Fishtail Himalayas. Overnight in hotel.
Day 06 : Ghandruk - Pokhara (910m) 3-4hrsToday is the last day of the program. We hike down to Nayapul and from there drive to retreat. We participate in evening yoga, have dinner and retire. You can leave retreat in the next morning after breakfast.
